Dear Families,

Starting Monday, September 22, we will begin a new dismissal procedure for all K–5 pick-ups (both car and walkers).

What You Need to Know:
• Each child will receive two numbered pick-up cards. Families need to give the cards to the person who will be picking up your child. Even older siblings at the school will need a card to pick up siblings in Grades K-5.
• The person picking up your child must show the card at dismissal.
• Staff outside will record the number, and your child will be called to come out.
• If no card is presented, the adult will need to show ID, and staff will check the student’s emergency card before releasing the child.

We understand this new process may take a little time to adjust to, but please know it is designed with student safety as our top priority. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to make dismissal safe and smooth for everyone.

Estimadas Familias,
A partir del lunes, 22 de septiembre, iniciaremos un nuevo procedimiento para la salida de todos los estudiantes de Kínder a 5.º grado, tanto para los que se van en coche como para los que se van caminando.
Lo que necesitan saber:
Cada niño recibirá dos tarjetas numeradas para la recogida. Las familias deben entregar las tarjetas a la persona que va a recoger a su hijo. Incluso los hermanos mayores en la escuela necesitarán una tarjeta para recoger a sus hermanos de K-5.
La persona que recoja a su hijo debe mostrar la tarjeta durante la salida.
El personal que esté afuera registrará el número y se le llamará a su hijo para que salga.
Si no se presenta la tarjeta, el adulto tendrá que mostrar una identificación y el personal verificará la ficha de emergencia del estudiante antes de dejarlo ir.
