The assembly will feature student performances including a fashion show, poetry, music, dance, and informational presentations. (Please note that many but not all students will be performing. All students will be attending the assembly.) Students with Asian American or Pacific Islander heritage are strongly encouraged to wear cultural dress!

It’s hard to believe, but it is already time for our Grades 3–8 students to show off what they’ve learned! The Smarter Balanced tests kick off next week, Monday May 4th and we want to make sure every student feels ready, relaxed, and empowered to do their best. Students in these grades will be testing in the mornings from May 4th until May 15th. Following these two weeks, students will then begin their NWEA ELA MAP testing and iReady Math Testing.
To give your kids the best shot at success, we’d love your help with a few things at home. First, please try to get them to bed a little earlier than usual—a well-rested brain makes a huge difference when it comes to staying focused. A healthy, filling breakfast in the morning is also a big help to keep those energy levels steady through the testing sessions.
Being here on time and ready to go is also super important. Testing starts right away, and arriving late can make kids feel rushed or stressed before they even sit down. We really want to see everyone here every day of testing so they can finish up with their friends and avoid having to do make-ups later on.
If your student comes every day of testing, they will attend a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream celebration!
We are so proud of all the hard work our students have put in this year! Thank you for helping us make this a smooth, stress-free week for them. If you have any questions, just let us know.
Best,
Principal Jorge

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to share some disappointing news. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel this year’s Talent Show scheduled for this Friday April 10th.
We know how hard our students have been practicing and how much they were looking forward to hitting the stage. Please know this decision was not made lightly. We truly value the creativity and effort our performers have poured into their acts.
We are looking into ways to showcase student talents later in the year and will send any further information when available.
Thank you for your patience and for supporting your child’s "star power" even when the curtains can't go up as planned.
Best regards,
Talent Show Committee

Dear Roberto Clemente Leadership Academy Family,
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
I hope this winter break has provided your family with time to rest, celebrate, and create wonderful memories together.
As we prepare to turn the page to 2026, we are filled with excitement for the second half of our school year.
We have missed our students, and we are ready to hit the ground running! We look forward to welcoming each and every one of our students back to school on Monday, January 5.
To start the year strong, we have set a big goal: 100% attendance on our first day back. Every day of learning counts, and the "fresh start" of a new year is the perfect time to build great habits. When our students are here, our School is complete, and the learning environment is at its best.
Can we count you in for 100% attendance on Monday, January 5th?
Let’s start the new year with a ROAR! We can’t wait to see those smiling faces at drop-off and at the Bus Platform on January 5th.
